Students had one last class period to finish their family/friend project. They were to be turned in at the end of class today. Tomorrow will be our last day of French for this quarter.

Today students practiced saying someone else's name by using the family tree picture we did yesterday. Then I gave them the family/friend project and showed them several examples from past students. Then they had time to begin working on their rough drafts. Final projects are due Thursday, October 31st. Students will have Monday-Thursday to work on their project in class next week.

We finished our notes on family today. Then we watched a short video that uses these words. Students then practiced introducing some family members with words I had on the board. Then they completed a family tree introducing the people on the tree, saying "This is my (mom)."

We added our seasons to our notes. Several students said what their favorite season is in French. Then I explained how they were to be added to their wheel. They had the rest of class to work on their wheel. They will have all class period tomorrow as well. Wheels are due at the beginning of class on Wednesday.

We worked on our dates again today. Students played a game like connect 4 but with dates and they had to get 5 in a row to win. Then they had time to work on the wheels and adding the months. We will add seasons on Monday and the wheels will be due on Wednesday at the beginning of class.

We worked with our months of the year today. We took notes on numbers 21-31 so we could give any date and students practiced asking and answering when their birthday was. Students completed Devoir #31 - writing the months in French and the months section on the back. Then they completed a months worksheet I gave them and then had time to add some of the months to their wheel. Each month should have a picture representing what that month means to them.

We worked with our days of the week today. We listened to our song. Then we did one listening activity and one written activity on a worksheet that I gave them. Then we voted on the their color pictures. Then the received their "wheel" which will be a mini-project that summarizes our days of the week, months of the year and seasons. Today they added their name to the center and the French days of the week to the circle outside their name. We will add the other vocab as we do them over the next week.

We worked with colors again today. Students worked with their table group to say the colors of flags of French speaking countries. Then they played a couple rounds of uno with their table groups. Then I gave them their mini-project for colors which is a color by number picture in French. These are due by the end of class on Friday of this week.

We practiced our colors today. We used our color cards for two different activities then I played a color song for them. Then they played uno using the French color and numbers. Ask them how to say special cards in French, they are fun to say!

Since I was absent yesterday we did one last day of review and I moved their numbers assessment to tomorrow. We went over the worksheet from yesterday, then we did a practice assessment. We finished class with some games of quizlet live.
