We worked with our numbers 0-20 one last day. Students completed a worksheet and turned it in. We played a round of "vingt" without their notes. We also did a practice assessment just like their assessment tomorrow. Lastly, students voted on my 7th grade menu projects.

We worked with numbers 0-10 today. We played "dix" multiple times since the students really enjoy it. We also used dice to work with a partner and do an activity similar to yesterday. Then students practiced in written form by completing a worksheet called Les Devoirs #3.

Students took their French alphabet assessment today. While students were assessing they completed a worksheet on our Basic French vocab words and turned it in to me before they left. We will begin our greetings unit tomorrow.

We worked with our French alphabet today. I played the two songs and then I practiced spelling words for them using the French alphabet and accent marks. Then they practiced spelling their first name using the French alphabet. Lastly, they worked with a partner to play hangman but had to use the French alphabet while playing.

We finished our notes on Basic Vocab French words. Then we watched a short video about how French students greet each other. Students then created a name tag with their French first name on it. We will use this next week to learn each others names.

We went over family members today and I described the family/friend project that we will be working on through Thursday. Friday we will be having our crêpe party to celebrate the end of the quarter. If students/families are able to donate $2 for toppings for this Friday that would be much appreciated.
