Students turned in their "wheel" mini-projects if they hadn't already done so. Today we took notes on family. This will be our last set of vocab and students will be completing a project about their family or friends.

Students had all class period to finish up their "wheel" mini-project which summarizes the days of the week, months of the year and seasons in French. These are due at the beginning of class tomorrow and we will begin our last topic which is family.

We took notes on our four seasons. Then students practiced giving the day by playing a version of the game Connect 4 but they had to give the date to earn their square on the board I gave them. Then we spent the rest of class working on our "wheel" mini-projects. Wheels are due at the beginning of class on Friday, March 22nd.

We took notes on numbers 21-31 in order to give the date. Then we practiced giving the date. Then we went to the computer lab to use quizlet.live to practice our days and months. Tomorrow we will add on seasons and finish our mini-project which is the wheel.

We worked with our days of the week and months of the year today. We used our flashcards to practice our words by doing two different activities with them. Then students completed a worksheet I gave them and added the months of the year to their "wheel".

We took notes on months of the year today. Students made flashcards for the 7 days of the week and the 12 months of the year. We will be using these next week. Students also practiced giving their birthday and various dates that were written up on the board.

There was a sub today and students watched a cultural movie about the
Catacombs in France. They jotted down some facts about what they learned
as they watched and turned them in to the sub.

We worked with our days of the week today. We listened to the song. Students also did a couple partner activities with our new words. We then watched a short video clip that goes along with this unit. Then I gave students their "wheel" which will be a mini-project that summarizes our unit with days of the week, seasons and months of the year on it. Today, they did their name and the days of the week. Students will add to this wheel over the next week and then turn it in for a grade.

We worked with numbers one last day. We practiced for the listening assessment which is tomorrow over numbers 0-20. Then we did a partner activity practicing our numbers. Students then completed "Lecon C pg 31" worksheet and had the remaining time to study however they wished for tomorrow's assessment.

We played "vingt" without our notes today and students did great! Then we played a modified version of the card game "war" where students had to add the value of the cards together and say the answer in French first to win the cards.

We continued to work with numbers 0-10. Students worked with a partner to do a game similar to rock paper scissors but with French numbers. Then we played one round of "dix". Then students completed the numbers worksheet, this is homework if they didn't finish.
