After two days off, we finished our "La Belle et La Bête". We will have our crepe party Monday or Tuesday of next week since the quarter has been extended.

Students turned in their family/friend projects and then we watched a French cartoon called "T'choupi". We will finish this next week as we wrap up the quarter.

Students were in the computer lab for the last time today and had all class period to work on their family/friend project. They had access to computers if they wanted to type or print things or if they wanted to create a digital presentation. Projects are due at the beginning of class tomorrow.

We continued to work with our family member vocab today. Students completed a family tree and then wrote about 4 of their friends. Students volunteered to share their answers. Then I went over the family/friend project description and rubric with them. I also showed them several examples. They will have significant class time to work on this and can work on it at home as well.

We finished our notes today on family members. Then students worked with their table group to read through a dialogue using our new vocab words. Then they practiced using mon/ma (my) to complete an activity on the whiteboard. We then watched the dialogue they read and a short clip on a French wedding. We compared how the wedding was similar and different than the US. Lastly, we talked about how family trees work and various set ups they may see.

We reviewed our months of the year and students completed a short worksheet using those. Then we took notes on our family members. This will be our final unit this quarter and will lead to a final family/friend project that students will begin later this week.
