We continued with our "Salutations" notes, we will finish these tomorrow. Students completed a short 1/2 sheet using our new words and we went over it before class was over.

Students took their numbers assessment today. Then we began notes on "Les Salutations" (Greetings) we will finish these or continue them on Monday. Students practiced greeting each other in different ways and saying good bye in different ways.

We used quizlet today on chromebooks for students to practice numbers 0-20 in preparation for their listening assessment tomorrow.

We worked with numbers 0-20 again today. Students played a version of war using French numbers and adding their cards together and having to say the correct answer in French to earn the cards.
Then students completed worksheet "les maths 1-20"

We took notes on numbers 11-20 today. Then we played "dix" but with vignt as the number that got you out.

We worked with numbers 0-10 today. Students practiced by working with a partner to do a hand activity and a dice activity. Then we played a game called "dix". Then students completed a worksheet practicing numbers.

Students who ordered croissants for Mardi Gras received them today. While I was passing those out, students did their presentations about how Mardi Gras (Carnival) is celebrated around the world.

We worked part of the class period with our Alphabet and students began testing the second half of class.

We worked with our French alphabet and accent marks again today. Students sang the songs. Then I spelled 8 words for them using the French alphabet and accent marks. Then they worked with a partner to play hangman but they had to ask for letters using the French alphabet. Then they completed a worksheet practicing their accent marks.

We worked with our accent marks and alphabet again today. I played the songs and then students practiced spelling their name using the French alphabet. I also spelled five words for students for them to practice hearing the letters. We will continue to work with this for the next couple of days.
