We watched a French video about Halloween. Then I introduced some Halloween vocabulary and students practiced asking each other what they were scared of in French. Then we worked with body parts. We played a quick game of "Jacques a dit" which is the French way to say "Simon says".

Today we worked with our family member vocab words. We watched a video that goes along with our vocab and included some cultural information about French weddings and how they differ from American weddings. Then I passed out their Family/Friend projects, which are due next Monday at the beginning of class. They will have the rest of the week to work on their projects in class.

We finished our family member notes today.  Then we practiced say this is my____ by doing a partner activity from the textbook. We will continue to work with this vocab next week and they will be creating a family/friend project next week as well.

We did some listening activities with dates today. Then students completed lecon 4 pg 48 #2 and pg 49 #3 in their lecon 4 packet. Then we took notes on family members today.

We worked with our days of the week and months of the year again today. Students practiced asking what day was it and their partner answered based on the calendars I had up on the board. Then we used Quizlet live to practice both sets of vocab.

We worked with months of the year again today. We listened to a song about the months of the year, then students completed a worksheet/wordsearch with the months of the year.

We took notes on months of the year and how to give the date and your birthday.  Students practiced asking and answering when is there birthday.

We went over pg 48 in their lecon 4 packet, which was using the days of the week. Then students used their flashcards to quiz their partners on the vocab words. We had a few minutes left and played a quick game of "stand up/sit down".

We worked with our days of the week today. We made flashcards and did an activity with them. Then students completed lecon 4 packet pg 48 #1 writing the day of the week in French and in English after the boxes.

We took notes on days of the week today. We listened to a song that's a little catchy, you can hear it below. We will work with this the rest of the week and it will lead us in to learning how to give the date and our birthday.

Students turned in their color by number pictures if they didn't do so on Friday. Then we played uno to practice our colors and numbers. Ask you student how they say the draw 4 wild card.

We went over the homework from yesterday and then students selected a color by number (in French) picture to color. They will display them on the bulletin board and students will vote on them.

We worked with colors again today. We used color cards to do a couple activities. Then students completed an unscramble worksheet and a color by number (in French) sheet, which will be displayed.

We worked with number 0-20 today in preparation for their assessment tomorrow. This is a listening assessment. Students used chromebooks to use quizlet to practice and several students played quizlet live with numbers. Tomorrow we will begin colors.
